Campaign Services Support Specialist | Full-Time

The Campaign Services Support Specialist is a team-player. This position is pivotal to providing support to the Campaign Services Team in the execution of candidate and issue advocacy campaigns. This team member will be responsible for assisting with managing details for campaign planning, budgeting, execution, and analysis for projects across the entire REAL Strategies client portfolio. The Support Specialist will help craft target universes using a top-of-industry data library, assist with project and deadline management for each campaign utilizing project management software, and assist with vendor and cross-team communications. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

 

  • Managing the flow of information between internal and external stakeholders to effectively implement campaign plans  

    • Monitor creative timelines and deadlines 

    • Follow up with clients, consultants, and vendors as needed to ensure tasks are on track 

    • Audit project collateral and reports for accuracy  

    • Request and transmit data files for vendors and clients 

    • Clear and responsive communications 

  • Working with polling and data teams to provide background campaign research as well as identify outreach targets for state and local projects 

    • Perform historical campaign and turnout research 

    • Submit data requests to production team for outreach files and other targeted universes  

  • Providing backup to the team as necessary, developing strategic campaign plans and budgets 

    • Determine likely budgets and reasonable timelines for candidate, issue advocacy, member advocacy, and consumer action campaigns 

  • Familiarizing self with and stay abreast of emerging campaign trends, tools, and technologies

Nice to have skills: 

 

  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite 

  • Familiarity with voter database searches and list building or similar tools  

  • Past work or volunteer role(s) in politics or a politically related position, such as organizing for a community, electoral, or issue advocacy campaign 

  • Experience working remotely 

  • An understanding of the sometimes urgent and often rapidly changing nature of political campaign planning and execution

Salary range:  $40,000 -$50,000
